Introduction

It is very important that the country and the whole world have to work together so that people can get proper physical and mental health, proper education, housing and other necessary things to live a normal life. Everyone has to take some steps together to eradicate poverty from the root. The government should provide all the opportunities and schemes so that even a common man can get the benefit of getting employment. To get rid of poverty, it is also important for us to have education and skills so that we can have the ability to understand and complete any work. Let's know what poverty means.

What is poverty?

Poverty means people who do not have enough money to buy food, clothing and shelter. The poverty population is very high all over the world. According to the World Bank, about 10% of the global population was living on less than $ 1.90 per day in 2019. Poor people have to face a lot of problems. Poverty is a problem of life due to which the person affected by it faces difficulty in meeting the basic needs of his life. This is the reason why many ways of getting rid of poverty are being discovered at present, so that the standard of living of people can be improved around the world.

Main causes of Poverty

1. Inefficiency

-Due to poverty, people are unable to access proper education because of a lack of financial resources.

2. A nutritious and balanced diet

-The lack of a balanced and nutritious diet due to poverty gives rise to many serious diseases.

3. Child labor

-This gives rise to illiteracy on a large scale, as the future of the country is involved in child labor at a very young age, at a very low price.

4. Lack of housing

-Living on footpaths, roadsides, other empty and open spaces, with many people in a small room, creates a lot of problems for living.

5. Diseases

-There is an increase in various infectious diseases because, due to a lack of money, people are unable to maintain proper cleanliness. They cannot even pay proper doctors' fees for the treatment of any disease.

6. Unemployment

-Poverty also causes unemployment, which also affects the normal life of people. It forces people to work against their will and follow the wrong paths.

7. Gender inequality

-This has a great impact on the life of women, which includes being deprived of proper food, regular medicine and nutrition, getting married at an early age, getting pregnant early, and having more than 2 children.

Conclusion

Poverty is not a problem limited to only one person, but it is a global problem. Many steps have been taken by the government, but no visible results are visible. The government should implement various types of employment so that a common man can at least fulfill his normal life needs. Poverty eradication is very important for the development of people, economy, society and country. It is very important for every person to work as a unit to eliminate poverty.
